A total of 1,324 young persons with disabilities (PWDs) and children of PWDs received financial assistance from the provincial government as part of its continuing support program for vulnerable sectors.

Among the beneficiaries was 10-year-old Angela Fabian, who shared her dream of becoming a doctor despite her young age. Angela, the child of a PWD community worker diagnosed with scoliosis, said she hopes to help and care for others in the future, inspired by her personal experiences at home.
The assistance distribution was led by Lilia Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, together with members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and Apalit Mayor Jun Tetangco.
Each beneficiary received ₱2,500 in cash assistance and food packs provided by the provincial government.

Provincial officials said the program is part of ongoing efforts to support the education and daily needs of PWD families, with commitments to further expand financial assistance in the future.
According to the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), more than 5,000 young PWDs and children of PWDs are regularly receiving support from the provincial government.
