A high-value drug personality was arrested and more than ₱1 million worth of suspected shabu was seized in an anti-illegal drug operation in San Rafael on April 27, 2026.
The 59-year-old suspect, listed by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency as a high-value individual, was apprehended at around 10:40 p.m. in Barangay Capihan. The operation was conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Doña Remedios Trinidad Municipal Police Station in coordination with PDEA.


Authorities recovered approximately 158 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of ₱1,079,160, along with marked buy-bust money and a black belt bag used in the transaction.
The suspect and confiscated evidence were brought to the police station for proper documentation, while charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared.
Police Regional Office 3 Regional Director PBGEN Jess B. Mendez said the arrest underscores the continuing intensified campaign against illegal drugs in line with the directive of Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr..
“Patuloy ang ating pinaigting na kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga. Hindi natin hahayaang makapaminsala sa ating mga komunidad ang mga high-value targets,” Mendez said.
Police also urged the public to remain vigilant and support authorities by reporting suspicious activities, assuring that anti-drug operations will continue across Central Luzon.
