₱2-M shabu seized, 2 nabbed in Bulacan bust

Authorities seized more than ₱2 million worth of suspected shabu and arrested two drug suspects during a buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay Cutcot, Pulilan on May 10.

The operation was led by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Doña Remedios Trinidad Municipal Police Station in coordination with the Pulilan Municipal Police Station, the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Recovered during the operation were around 300 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of ₱2.04 million, along with marked money, boodle money, a box of Royce Potato Chip Chocolate, and a Toyota Vios vehicle.

PBGEN Jess B. Mendez commended the operating units for the successful anti-drug operation and reaffirmed Police Regional Office 3’s intensified campaign against illegal drugs.

Charges for violation of Sections 5, 11, and 26 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against the arrested suspects.
