CIAC’s urban renewal program enhances Clark’s public spaces

Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) continues to advance its Urban Renewal and Heritage Conservation Program (URHCP), one of the agency’s Seven Flagship Projects under the Clark Aviation Capital initiative, aimed at creating a more connected, vibrant, and future-ready Clark.

Central to the program are Public Realm projects designed to improve accessibility, mobility, and the overall experience of residents, workers, investors, and visitors within the Clark Freeport Zone.

Among the key developments are iconic gateway markers, an integrated wayfinding system, and upgraded public utility vehicle (PUV) stations that help strengthen Clark’s identity while promoting safer and more commuter-friendly public spaces.

Beyond infrastructure, CIAC said these projects reflect its commitment to thoughtful urban design and heritage conservation, blending modern functionality with the preservation of Clark’s unique character.

Through the Urban Renewal and Heritage Conservation Program, CIAC aims to transform public spaces into meaningful community assets that people can see, use, and experience every day.
