Residents of Oak Street, Section 4 in Barangay Balibago can once again access their community following efforts by the Angeles City Government to address concerns arising from the nearby building collapse site.

The restoration of access came after Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II personally inspected the condition of affected residents and coordinated with concerned agencies to reopen the route for entry and exit.

Power supply in the area has also been restored following repair and rehabilitation works on damaged electrical lines and posts.

The city government said it continues to monitor the situation of residents to ensure their needs are being addressed while operations at Ground Zero remain ongoing.

Meanwhile, upon the mayor’s directive, regular disinfection, misting, and spraying activities are being conducted in surrounding areas to help prevent potential health hazards.
