Several jeepney drivers in Mabalacat City received fuel subsidies from Goto Denshi Mfg. Phils. Inc. as part of the company’s effort to help ease the impact of rising fuel prices on the livelihood of public transport workers.
According to the company, the initiative was personally proposed by its President and CEO, Mr. Taiki Goto, who emphasized the importance of extending assistance to the community, particularly to jeepney drivers who continue to face increasing operating costs.

Mabalacat City Mayor Atty. Geld Aquino expressed gratitude to Goto Denshi for its support to the transportation sector, noting that more investors are now partnering with the city government on projects that benefit both the community and local workers.
The mayor said the initiative reflects the growing confidence of businesses and investors in the Mabalacat City local government.
Beneficiary jeepney drivers also welcomed the assistance, saying it would help ease their daily expenses and support their continued operations.
The fuel subsidy program highlighted the role of the private sector in supporting communities, particularly transport workers who remain affected by the sustained increase in petroleum prices.
