The Unified Command Management reported to Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, who serves as the Responsible Official (RO), the recovery of the 12th victim from the collapsed structure in Barangay Balibago on June 1.

According to the Incident Command Post, responders successfully extricated the body of a male victim from the rubble shortly after 4 a.m.

The Angeles City Health Office immediately carried out the necessary Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) procedures to ensure the proper and respectful handling and identification of the victim’s remains.

Meanwhile, the Angeles City government continues to conduct regular disinfection and sanitation measures at the incident site to maintain cleanliness and safety as search, rescue, retrieval, and clearing operations led by the Unified Command remain ongoing.
