Search and retrieval operations at the collapsed structure in Barangay Balibago continued into the early hours of June 2, resulting in the recovery of additional casualties and bringing the confirmed death toll to 17.

Following prolonged debris removal efforts, responders recovered the remains of a canine at 1:34 a.m. Two unidentified individuals were subsequently extricated from the rubble at 1:56 a.m. and 2:07 a.m., raising the number of confirmed casualties to 16.

At 4:08 a.m., retrieval teams recovered another unidentified individual from the collapse site, increasing the confirmed casualty count to 17.

Search, retrieval, and clearing operations remain ongoing as authorities continue to account for those affected by the incident.
