Around 700 beneficiaries in Tarlac City have officially graduated from the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), marking a significant step toward greater self-sufficiency and improved living conditions for their families.
According to Mayor Susan Yap, of the graduates, 300 are set to receive additional support through the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Sustainable Livelihood Program, which will provide them opportunities to start and develop their own sources of income.
The milestone highlights the government’s continuing efforts to empower families through social protection and livelihood initiatives, helping beneficiaries transition toward long-term economic stability.
Mayor Yap expressed hope that the graduates will continue to maximize the opportunities provided by the government and serve as an inspiration to other families striving for a better future.
