Angeles City honors three new centenarians

The Angeles City Government, through the Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) and with the support of Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, recognized three Angeleños who recently reached the age of 100.

Honored as the city’s newest centenarians were Rosita F. Marquez, Felipa N. Mendoza, and Rosa L. Tiatco.

As beneficiaries of the Expanded Centenarians Act (Republic Act No. 11982), the three centenarians are entitled to a one-time cash gift of ₱100,000 and a Letter of Felicitation from the President of the Philippines in recognition of their longevity and contributions to society.

City officials said the recognition highlights the importance of honoring senior citizens, whose lives, experiences, and wisdom continue to inspire their families and communities.

The Angeles City Government remains committed to implementing programs that promote the welfare of senior citizens and ensure they receive the support, recognition, and services they deserve.
