Despite continuous rains, Pampanga Governor Lilia ‘Nanay’ Pineda personally led a medical mission and inspected the ongoing construction of the Escolastica Romero District Hospital (ERDH) Annex in Lubao.
The visit underscored the provincial government’s commitment to expanding access to quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare services for Kapampangans, with the support of Dennis ‘Delta’ Pineda.
Once completed, the ERDH Annex will serve as a modern two-story healthcare facility with a roof deck, designed to enhance medical services for residents of Lubao and neighboring communities.
The new facility will feature:
- 40-bed hospital capacity
- Three private rooms
- Three semi-private rooms
- Seven ward rooms
- Isolation room
- Two doctors’ clinics
- Two operating rooms
- Treatment and recovery rooms
- Three nurse stations
- Conference room
- Accessible ramp
- Modern comfort rooms
The hospital annex is targeted to become operational by the third quarter of 2026 as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen and expand Pampanga’s healthcare system.
The project is expected to bring essential medical services closer to communities, providing improved access to consultations, emergency care, surgical procedures, and specialized treatments without requiring residents to travel far from their homes.
