Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II extended his heartfelt gratitude to the various Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices (DRRMOs), technical agencies, and partner organizations that provided vital assistance during the Search, Rescue, Retrieval, and Clearing Operations in Barangay Balibago.
Lazatin acknowledged the invaluable contributions of the Apalit MDRRMO, Bamban MDRRMO, Capas MDRRMO, Concepcion MDRRMO, Guagua MDRRMO, Isabela PDRRMO, Minalin MDRRMO, the Olongapo CDRRMO Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) Team and Swift Search and Rescue (SSR) Team, Bulacan PDRRMO, Barangay Mabayuan Emergency Response Unit, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Pampanga 2nd and 3rd District Engineering Offices, and the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Region III.
According to the mayor, the dedication, expertise, and unwavering support of these agencies played a crucial role in the successful implementation of the operations.
Mayor Jon emphasized that the collaborative efforts demonstrated by local government units, emergency responders, national agencies, and other stakeholders reflected the spirit of unity and public service in times of need.
He likewise expressed appreciation for the commitment and sacrifice shown by all personnel involved, noting that their contributions greatly helped ensure the effectiveness of the response and recovery efforts in Barangay Balibago.
