Pampanga First District Congressman Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. continued his annual Brigada Eskwela tradition by personally delivering construction and painting materials to schools in Angeles City and Mabalacat City in preparation for the opening of classes.
Among the beneficiary schools were Sta. Ines Integrated School, which received two buckets of paint, four paint brushes and 10 sacks of cement; Amsic Integrated School, which received six buckets of paint, 12 paint brushes, and 30 sacks of cement; and Mabalacat Community High School, which likewise received two buckets of paint, four paint brushes, and 10 sacks of cement.

Joining Lazatin during the turnover activities were Political Affairs Officer III Mina Cabiles, Political Affairs Officer II Irish Bonus-Llego, and Keece Lazatin.

Lazatin said participating in Brigada Eskwela has been a personal tradition since he was first elected as Angeles City councilor in 2013, reflecting his continued support for creating safe and conducive learning environments for students and teachers.

The donations form part of ongoing efforts to assist public schools as they prepare their facilities for the incoming school year.
