DOTr continues talks with affected families for NSCR Project in Angeles City

The Department of Transportation (DOTr), through its Right of Way and Site Acquisition (ROWSA) team led by Assistant Secretary IC Calaguas, continues negotiations with families affected by the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) Project in Angeles City.

Joining the discussions was Barangay Pulungbulu Chairperson Lorna Zabala, who assisted in coordinating with affected residents.

DOTr reports that around 90 percent of the right of way required for the NSCR in Angeles City has already been cleared.

Recently, Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez thanked Pampanga First District Congressman Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. and Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II for their support in advancing the railway project.

The NSCR is among the major infrastructure projects being prioritized by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to improve the country’s transportation system.
