Municipal Mayor Rodencio “Ruding” S. Gonzales marked his 60th birthday by sharing his special day with cancer patients, providing cash assistance and hosting a fellowship meal as an expression of compassion and solidarity.
The celebration began with a Holy Mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Dixie Paras and was attended by Mayor Gonzales’ wife, Daisy Gonzales; former Senior Deputy Speaker and Congressman Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales Jr.; Board Member MyMy Mercado; Vice Mayor Doc Pangan; members of the Sangguniang Bayan; barangay officials; department heads; municipal employees; and the mayor’s friends.




In his message, Mayor Gonzales reaffirmed his commitment to continue serving the people of Mexico in the years ahead, emphasizing his dedication to honest and meaningful public service.
He also expressed gratitude to Congressman Gonzales for his long-standing trust, guidance, and support throughout his journey in public service. The mayor acknowledged the opportunities and mentorship extended to him, as well as the congressman’s continued support in his leadership as municipal mayor.
Mayor Gonzales likewise underscored the importance of integrity as a guiding principle in both his personal life and public service, noting that it remains a cornerstone of his leadership.
As he entered a new chapter in life, Mayor Gonzales renewed his commitment to a brand of leadership anchored on compassion, honesty, and unwavering dedication to serving the people of Mexico.
