Access to essential medicines has been further improved for beneficiaries of the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program, following the acceptance of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Guarantee Letter (GL) in selected branches of Mercury Drug nationwide.
The Department of Social Welfare and Development confirmed that qualified clients may now use their Guarantee Letters in participating Mercury Drug branches to make the process of obtaining prescribed medicines faster and more convenient.

The DSWD Guarantee Letter is an official document issued by the Department of Social Welfare and Development, serving as a payment guarantee for medicines and other forms of assistance covered under its medical support programs.
The public is advised to look for the “DSWD Guarantee Letter is accepted here” signage in participating branches for smooth and hassle-free transactions.
