Protecting consumers through market checks

The Angeles City Veterinary Office recently conducted inspections at the Pampang and San Nicolas Public Markets as part of the city government’s continuing efforts to ensure food safety and protect public health.

Led by Dr. Roy Del Rosario and Nilo Nabung, the inspections focused on verifying that meat and other food products being sold in the markets are safe, sanitary, and compliant with food safety regulations.

The regular inspections aim to safeguard consumers from potentially unsafe products while ensuring that vendors follow proper standards in the handling, storage, and sale of food.

Under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, the city government continues to strengthen food safety measures and encourages Angeleños to remain vigilant when purchasing food and support vendors who adhere to cleanliness and safety standards.
