The Municipal Government of Mexico has completed the cleaning and deepening of waterways in Barangay San Miguel as part of its continuing flood mitigation and irrigation improvement program.

The project, carried out using the municipality’s heavy equipment, is in line with the directive of Mayor Rodencio “Ruding” Gonzales to bring essential services closer to communities. Vice Mayor Dr. Jonathan Pangan and the Sangguniang Bayan also supported the initiative.

The local government said the program aims to improve drainage systems, help prevent flooding, sustain irrigation, and support the livelihood of farmers and residents. Similar operations will continue in other barangays across the municipality.
