A passenger vessel, MV Virgen de Peñafrancia II, operated by Starhorse Shipping, tilted while docked at the port of Real, Quezon, shortly after passengers had disembarked.
All 58 people on board, including 40 passengers and 18 crew members, were reported safe.
The vessel was also carrying 14 vehicles or rolling cargo when the incident occurred.
Authorities said the ship had approximately 1,300 liters of marine diesel in its service tank, but no immediate threat of an oil spill was reported.
