Philippine Airlines (PAL) is expanding its North American network with additional nonstop flights to Vancouver, Toronto, and New York beginning November and December 2026, providing travelers with more options while strengthening connectivity between the Philippines, North America, and Southeast Asia.
Starting November 17, PAL will increase Manila–Vancouver flights from seven to 10 weekly. Manila–New York (JFK) services will increase from three to four weekly flights beginning December 2, with a fifth weekly flight during the December 2026 to January 2027 holiday season. Manila–Toronto flights will also increase from three to four weekly beginning December 5.
PAL President Richard Nuttall said the expansion reflects the airline’s commitment to meeting growing travel demand while supporting tourism, trade, business, and family connections between the Philippines and North America.
The additional flights will also improve connections from Manila to key Southeast Asian destinations, including Jakarta, Bali, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Phnom Penh, and Hanoi, while PAL’s partnerships with American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, and WestJet will provide seamless onward travel across the United States and Canada.
The expanded services will also increase cargo capacity for trade and e-commerce. Toronto and New York flights will initially use the Airbus A350-900 before transitioning to the new Airbus A350-1000, which will also begin serving San Francisco in August 2026.
The expansion forms part of PAL’s long-term growth strategy, which also includes the launch of thrice-weekly Manila–Chicago flights on November 9, 2026, further strengthening Manila’s position as a gateway between North America and Southeast Asia.
