Pampanga Capitol extends P148,000 aid to child with hemophilia

A three-year-old child from Sta. Cruz, Lubao battling Severe Hemophilia A received P148,000 in financial assistance from the Pampanga Provincial Government to help cover one month of life-saving treatment.

The child, whose condition is an inherited bleeding disorder that can cause severe pain, swelling, bruising, and difficulty walking even from minor injuries, received the assistance during the Capitol’s medical aid distribution on July 6.

The financial assistance was part of the P5.85 million worth of medical aid distributed by Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan to 145 Kapampangans in need of treatment.

The Provincial Government continues to encourage residents requiring medical assistance to apply through its assistance program.
