Several Kapampangan patients whose lives were saved through life-changing heart procedures personally thanked Pampanga Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda during a visit to the Provincial Capitol on July 6.

Among them were Rolando Muñoz of Arayat, who underwent an angiogram and angioplasty; Angelo Nava of San Simon, who received assistance for his heart operation; and Zoilo Dela Cruz of Candaba, who successfully underwent heart bypass surgery through the Provincial Government’s medical assistance program in partnership with the Philippine Heart Center.

Accompanied by their families, the beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Governor Pineda and the Provincial Government for providing timely financial and medical assistance that gave them a second chance at life.

The Provincial Government said its continuing partnership with the Philippine Heart Center reflects its commitment to ensuring that Kapampangans have access to quality medical care and life-saving treatment regardless of their financial circumstances.
