A 17-year-old girl from Pampanga has regained her eyesight after receiving medical assistance from the Provincial Government for a sight-saving eye operation.

Aubrey Leean Rilloraza sought help from Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda after being diagnosed with a retinal disorder that caused severe vision loss in her left eye. The surgery, which cost around P180,000, was beyond her family’s means.

Following her request for assistance on June 2, Aubrey was immediately referred for treatment and successfully underwent surgery. A month later, her vision has gradually returned, allowing her to resume her studies and pursue her dreams.

On Monday, Aubrey and her mother visited the Pampanga Provincial Capitol to personally thank the provincial government for the timely medical assistance that helped save her eyesight.

The Provincial Government continues to encourage Kapampangans in need of medical assistance to avail themselves of its health support programs.
