Representative Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. has kicked off the personal distribution of school supplies to thousands of daycare pupils across the First District of Pampanga on July 16.

The distribution will benefit a total of 3,417 learners from 67 daycare centers in Angeles City, 3,131 pupils from 64 centers in Mabalacat City, and 1,700 pupils from 33 centers in Magalang. Each child will receive a set of school supplies containing crayons, notebooks, a pencil, eraser, sharpener, and writing pad.

Parents of the beneficiaries will also receive five kilos of rice each.

Cong Pogi kicked off the distribution at Lourdes Sur East Daycare Center and is scheduled to personally visit daycare centers in various barangays throughout the district.

In line with the celebration of Nutrition Month 2026, the Cong Pogi is also distributing his signature Malunggay Ice Cream, a nutrition initiative he launched in 2025 to promote healthier eating among young children. The program is fully funded through his personal resources.
