PCCI Tarlac president joins 3rd Bamboo Festival opening

Philippine bamboo took center stage as the 3rd Bamboo Festival opened on September 17, with PCCI Tarlac President Aileen Uy Chan joining stakeholders in marking Philippine Bamboo Month.

The festival highlights the importance of bamboo development while promoting its planting, nurturing and utilization as a resource for sustainable environmental and economic development.

Running until September 18 at the Bulwagang Kanlahi, Diwa ng Tarlac, the two-day celebration features various activities and exhibits showcasing the versatility, creativity and economic potential of bamboo.
