The Angeles City Veterinary Office conducted a stray cat rescue operation at the City College of Angeles (CCA) on July 20 as part of the city’s continuing animal welfare program under the administration of Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II.
The rescued cats were safely transferred to the Angeles City Pound, where they will undergo proper care, observation, and necessary veterinary procedures in accordance with established animal welfare protocols.
The initiative aims to promote community safety and cleanliness while ensuring the humane treatment and care of stray animals.
The City Veterinary Office also encouraged Angeleños to practice responsible pet ownership and promptly report animals needing rescue or veterinary assistance for immediate action.
