Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary for Civilian Security Elmer G. Cato hosted US Assistant Secretary of State for Diplomatic Security Todd Wilcox at Clark Freeport Zone on Saturday for discussions on strengthening security cooperation between the Philippines and the United States.

During a Kapampangan lunch at Consuelo’s prepared by Chef Vince Garcia, the officials discussed the countries’ shared history and partnership, as well as closer collaboration between their respective offices.

Cato noted that the visit was not Wilcox’s first to the Philippines, as he had previously visited Clark and Fort Magsaysay as a Green Beret training with Philippine special forces.
