The Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) Luisita Interchange is set for expansion with new northbound entry and southbound exit ramps aimed at improving connectivity and mobility in Tarlac and Central Luzon.
The BCDA Group, Provincial Government of Tarlac and NLEX Corporation led the groundbreaking ceremony for the project, which will provide long-needed direct connections for motorists.
Once completed, motorists from MacArthur Highway will have direct northbound access to SCTEX, while travelers from Northern Luzon will be able to exit directly at Luisita when heading south.
BCDA President and CEO Joshua M. Bingcang said the project forms part of efforts to build an interconnected ecosystem within the Luzon Economic Corridor, supporting businesses, communities and national growth.
Tarlac Gov. Christian Tell Yap said the improved accessibility will create more opportunities for residents by bringing them closer to jobs, businesses and other economic activities.
