HFI turns over new Health Station in Capas

The Hann Foundation, Inc. (HFI) has turned over a newly constructed health station to Barangay Maruglo in Capas, Tarlac, bringing essential healthcare services closer to families in the remote community.

Built using container prefabricated technology, the facility features treatment and consultation, vaccination, pharmacy, reception and Barangay Health Workers’ areas, as well as a Senior Citizen Center. It is fully equipped with medical tools, supplies and furnishings.

HFI also donated a motorcycle with sidecar to serve as a patient transport vehicle for Ayta residents in Sitio Kawayan, Sitio Flora and other remote sitios.

The project was completed through the support of the Philippine Air Force 790th Air Base Group, the Barangay Maruglo Council, the Capas municipal government and Municipal Health Office.

Turned over on August 17, the multi-million facility is HFI’s third health station completed in 2026, following similar projects in Barangay Anupul and the Ayta Mag-Antsi GIDA community in Bamban.

The project forms part of HFI’s Health Pillar initiatives to make healthcare more accessible to underserved communities. HFI serves as the corporate social responsibility arm of the Hann Group.
