Search continues for 4 missing after Agana Bridge collapse

Search, rescue and retrieval operations continue for four individuals reported missing following the Agana Bridge collapse at around 7:40 p.m. on August 29, 2026.

Authorities said five people were aboard a Toyota Avanza that was swept away during the incident. Nathaniel Dizon was rescued by responders, while Paul Harvey Collado, James Patrick Taborlupa, Shiela Mae Taborlupa and Shonen Tuhaw remain missing.

The operation involves the CDRRMO, PDRRMO, FIL-CHI, 3rd Mech, TOG 3, 522nd, 7CMOBN, PNP, VAT, SCAN and DELTA COMM, which continue to coordinate efforts to locate the missing individuals.

Authorities appealed for prayers for the safe recovery of the four missing persons and support for their families as rescue teams continue the operation.
