Ripple of Hope: 10,000 Meals, One Wave of Compassion

Amid torrential rains and widespread flooding, the Pampanga Press Club (PPC) is privileged to once again be part of Ripple of Hope, joining partners, donors and volunteers in bringing ready-to-eat meals and much-needed hope to affected Kapampangans.

With support from Mekeni Food Corp., business leaders Pruds S. Garcia and Rene G. Romero, Chef Felix Niño Asuncion, donors and volunteers, a total of 10,000 food packs have been prepared and distributed this August to families severely affected by the floods.

The PPC said the initiative reflects the power of collective action, recalling its participation in the same effort during the onslaught of Typhoon Uwan last year.

With the storm season far from over, organizers continue to appeal for donations and support to sustain the relief effort and reach more families in need.

For the PPC and its partners, every food pack represents more than a meal—it is a reminder to flood-hit communities that help, compassion and hope remain within reach, especially in the most difficult times.
