Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II expressed his heartfelt gratitude to barangay officials, volunteers, and residents who continue to unite and support the local government’s efforts amid the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

At the Anunas-Margot border, barangay officials and volunteers joined the City Engineer’s Office Maintenance Section in a sandbagging operation at the SCTEX underpass to help prevent floodwaters from entering the area.

Meanwhile, the City Engineer’s Office also conducted a floodwater siphoning operation along Galang Street corner San Vicente Road in Barangay Tabun.

The city government emphasized that in times of calamity, Angeles City becomes stronger when its people come together and work hand in hand.
