The Apalit DHVSU has been converted into a temporary evacuation facility for dialysis patients enrolled at the Pampanga Provincial Dialysis II in Apalit, ensuring they have a safe place to stay amid the continued rains and flooding.

The facility aims to prevent disruptions to the patients’ regular dialysis sessions by providing temporary accommodation close to their treatment facility.

The initiative is being carried out through the joint efforts of the Apalit Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), Pampanga Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), and Provincial Health Office (PHO).

As of the latest update, around 15 dialysis patients are temporarily staying at the evacuation center.
