The DSWD Field Office 3 – Central Luzon distributed 1,037 Family Food Packs (FFPs) to families displaced by severe flooding in San Marcelino, Zambales.
DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian, Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao, Zambales Governor Hermogenes Ebdane Jr., Congressman Jay Khonghun, DSWD Field Office 3 Regional Director Venus F. Rebuldela, Assistant Regional Director for Operations Armont C. Pecina, San Marcelino Mayor Elvis Soria, and Barangay Captain Anthony Manzano visited the affected area to assess the situation, particularly among residents from Aeta communities.
The FFPs were delivered to residents of Sitio I-Long, Santa Fe, with a backhoe used to help transport the relief supplies across the Santo Tomas River.
In coordination with the provincial and municipal governments, the DSWD Field Office 3 continues to provide relief assistance and support to communities affected by the recent calamity in Central Luzon.
