President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. (PBBM) visited families sheltering at the PAGCOR Multi-Purpose Evacuation Center in Barangay Sta. Catalina, Lubao, as he continued his inspection of flood-affected areas in Pampanga on September 2.
Around 51 families or 167 individuals have been staying at the evacuation center since August 28.
PBBM witnessed the distribution of family food packs and ₱10,000 cash assistance under the DSWD’s Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program.
The National Housing Authority also provided ₱30,000 for partially damaged homes and ₱50,000 for totally damaged houses.
PBBM assured affected families that the government will continue providing assistance while they remain in evacuation centers and until they can rebuild their homes and recover from the disaster.
