BCDA highlights Luzon Economic Corridor as Industrial Growth Driver

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) is strengthening the Luzon Economic Corridor as a key platform for industrial growth and high-value investments in the Philippines.

At the Semiconductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines Foundation Inc. (SEIPI) Q3 General Membership Meeting, BCDA President and CEO Joshua M. Bingcang highlighted the corridor’s role in connecting major economic hubs, including Metro Manila, Batangas, and Central Luzon.

Bingcang said BCDA developments such as New Clark City and the Clark Freeport Zone are positioned to support high-tech manufacturing, logistics, and innovation under the initiative.

He emphasized the importance of linking ports, airports, talent, infrastructure, and industries to create a more integrated and competitive economy.

The forum gathered government and private-sector leaders to discuss emerging investments, innovations, developments in the semiconductor and electronics industries, and infrastructure priorities aligned with the country’s industrial growth agenda.
