NLEX San Simon is now free from floodwaters and open to all vehicle classes as clearing and dredging operations continue along the Tulaoc River.

The ongoing efforts have helped improve water flow after water lilies, sand and silt, trash, and other debris were found obstructing the waterway. These materials had accumulated over time, restricting the river’s flow and contributing to flooding in the San Simon area.

NLEX continues to work with the government and other partners in clearing and dredging waterways to improve drainage, reduce floodwaters, and help mitigate flooding in affected communities.
