From harvest-filled cabang baskets to its quiet sandy shores lined with agoho trees, Cabangan, Zambales continues to embrace a spirit of growth and community.
Local resort owners and tourism MSMEs are taking that spirit into the digital space through MSME Biz Up!, a learning session organized by PLDT Enterprise, the B2B arm of PLDT and Smart Communications, Inc.
Held at Bonita’s Kitchen, the session provided hospitality entrepreneurs with practical digital tools to strengthen their online presence, reach more travelers, and protect their businesses from online threats.
Through the #KonektedForLivelihoods program, participants learned strategies for improving online visibility and attracting potential guests, alongside cybersecurity practices to safeguard business operations and customer transactions from scams.
The initiative was supported by the Cabangan LGU through its Municipal Tourism Office and DTI-Zambales, highlighting the continuing collaboration among the private sector, government, and local organizations to help tourism MSMEs build stronger, safer, and more connected businesses.
