Travel time from Valenzuela City to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) is expected to be cut from about 1.5 hours to nearly 40 minutes once the Metro Manila Subway Project (MMSP) becomes fully operational.
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the groundbreaking ceremony for the MMSP–NAIA Terminal 3 Station, part of Contract Package 109 covering the construction of the underground station and connecting tunnels between Taguig and Pasay.
The station will feature a direct rail connection to NAIA Terminal 3, providing faster and more convenient travel for passengers, workers and tourists.
The MMSP forms part of the government’s continuing modernization of the country’s railway system, aimed at improving mobility and connectivity across Metro Manila while reducing travel time for commuters.
