Congressman Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. on Sept. 16, 2026 began distributing school supplies and other assistance to day care students in several barangays in Mabalacat City.
The distribution covered the following day care centers:
- San Joaquin Day Care Center – Barangay San Joaquin
- Dolores Day Care Center – Barangay Dolores
- Tabun 1 Day Care Center – Barangay Tabun
- Tabun 3 Day Care Center – Barangay Tabun
- Northville 16 Day Care Center – Barangay Atlu Bola
- Mamatitang Day Care Center – Barangay Mamatitang
Each day care student received a tote bag containing crayons, notebooks, a pencil, eraser, sharpener and writing pad. Their parents, meanwhile, received five kilos of rice each.
The children were also treated to malunggay ice cream, while mascots Laz and Tin, conceptualized by Lazatin, joined the activities.
Cong Pogi was accompanied by Political Affairs Officer II Irish Llego and the respective barangay councils, led by Punong Barangays Davidson David of San Joaquin, Jerry Tanglao of Dolores, Danilo De Leon of Tabun, Benjamin Pangan of Atlu Bola and Jayson Viray of Mamatitang.
