Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. distributed school supplies, rice and treats to day care students and their families in two communities in Mabalacat City as part of efforts to support young learners and their parents.
Cong Pogi visited the Poblacion Day Care Center in Barangay Poblacion and the Northville 16 Day Care Center in Barangay Atlu Bola, where he distributed school supply kits to the children.
Each day care student received a tote bag containing crayons, notebooks, a pencil, eraser, sharpener and writing pad to help them prepare for their learning activities.
Cong Pogi also provided five kilos of rice to each parent of the day care students, extending assistance to their families beyond school needs.
The children likewise received malunggay ice cream during the distribution activities.
Cong Pogi was accompanied by Political Affairs Officer II Irish Llego and members of the respective barangay councils.
At Poblacion, the distribution was supported by the Barangay Poblacion Council led by Punong Barangay Elmer Mendiola, while the Barangay Atlu Bola Council was led by Punong Barangay Benjamin Pangan.
The activities brought together school readiness and family support, providing young learners with basic educational supplies while helping ease some of the needs of their families.
