A new three-story, 12-classroom building will soon rise at the Pampanga State University (PSU)-Floridablanca Campus following the signing of an agreement between Pampanga Gov. Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) Chairman Alejandro H. Tengco.
The ceremonial signing was held at the PAGCOR Office and was attended by Department of Education Secretary Sonny Angara and representatives of PSU, led by President Enrique G. Baking.
The new building will be equipped with the necessary facilities and is part of PAGCOR’s initiative to help address the country’s shortage of classrooms while expanding access to quality education.
Floridablanca Mayor Michael Galang welcomed the project, citing the continued support of Pineda and Vice Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda for education programs that provide students with better learning environments and greater opportunities.
The project is expected to add much-needed learning spaces for PSU-Floridablanca students, with each new classroom serving as an additional space for learning, dreams and a brighter future for the town’s youth.
“Dakal pung salamat,” Galang said, expressing his appreciation to Pineda, Vice Gov. Delta Pineda and PAGCOR for their continued support for education and the future of Floridablanca’s young people.
