The Magalang municipal government has launched an information and notice campaign ahead of a clearing operation targeting structures and obstructions extending beyond property lines along the town’s major roads.

The initiative was led by Municipal Administrator Norman L. Lacson, together with PLTCOL Fercel Deloria, Magalang police chief; SFINSP Rustico D. Tayag Jr., Magalang fire marshal; Councilor June C. Tanglao; and members of the Clearing Operation Task Force.

Owners of affected establishments were formally notified and given an opportunity to voluntarily remove or rectify structures and other items encroaching beyond their property boundaries before the clearing operation begins.

The municipal government said the effort aims to keep roads safer, wider, and more orderly for motorists, pedestrians, and emergency vehicles.

It also called on residents and business owners to cooperate in maintaining clean, accessible, and safe roads throughout Magalang.
