DSWD breaks ground for new SWAD Pampanga facility

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 3 broke ground for the Construction of the Client Reception and Service Area of the new SWAD Pampanga, marking a step toward more accessible, organized, and client-centered service delivery.

DSWD Undersecretary for General Administration and Support Services Group Atty. Edward Justine R. Orden led the activity with DSWD FO3 Regional Director Venus F. Rebuldela, Director Keisha M. Nguyen, ARDA Allyp Albert L. Baybayan, and other officials and personnel.

Orden congratulated DSWD FO3 on the milestone and thanked the Pampanga Provincial Government for providing the site for SWAD Pampanga under a 20-year usufruct agreement.

Rebuldela said the facility reflects strong inter-agency cooperation and will provide beneficiaries with a safe, accessible, organized, and comfortable venue for accessing DSWD programs and services.

The new facility will also serve as a functional workplace for DSWD personnel, helping improve operational efficiency and service delivery while bringing client reception, service areas, and business center functions under one roof.
