Angeles seniors treated to free beauty, wellness services

Angeleño senior citizens were treated to a day of relaxation and self-care as the city held a Beauty and Wellness Day today, offering free personal grooming and wellness services to elderly residents.

The activity featured free massage, manicure and pedicure, and haircut services, provided by trainers from the Public Employment Services Office (PESO).

The initiative aimed to promote not only the physical well-being of senior citizens but also their confidence and sense of belonging through simple acts of care and pampering.

Present during the activity were Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) Dr. Frankie Villanueva and Executive Secretary IV Raffy Angeles, together with Councilor Alex Indiongco, chairman of the Committee on Senior Citizens.

The Beauty and Wellness Day underscored the city government’s continuing efforts to provide programs that support the health, dignity and overall well-being of Angeles’ senior citizens.
