Some places never really leave the heart. They simply find a new home.
And for generations of Kapampangans who grew up celebrating birthdays, gathering for Sunday lunches, or simply enjoying a good old-fashioned salo-salo at Lola Nor’s, its much-awaited return feels like reuniting with an old friend.
The beloved Kapampangan dining destination offered a first glimpse of its new home along Friendship Highway in Barangay Anunas, Angeles City, during an exclusive preview for members of the media, family, and friends on October 10, ahead of its official opening to the public next week.
And before anyone asks the all-important question — yes, the legendary Putong Babi is still very much on the menu!
That alone should bring a smile to longtime patrons who have missed the restaurant’s signature flavors.
But Lola Nor’s is returning with much more than nostalgia. It has a stylish new address, a refreshed menu, youthful design touches, and a whole new personality that embraces the next generation without forgetting the generations that came before.
Coming Home to Lola Nor’s
The October 10 gathering gave family, friends, and members of the media an exclusive first look at the restaurant’s exciting new chapter, with its official public opening scheduled for the following week.
Located along Friendship Highway in Korea Town, Barangay Anunas, the new Lola Nor’s is preparing to welcome another generation of diners.
New address. New logo. New flavors. A fresh Gen Z touch.
But the Putong Babi is still there. So are the familiar favorites, the warm yellow hues, the family spirit, and that unmistakable feeling of being welcomed home.
Because at Lola Nor’s, some things may change — but the heart of home stays the same.
And when its doors officially open next week, Lola Nor’s will not simply be welcoming customers back. It will be welcoming everyone home again.
