Cebu Pacific has taken delivery of its 15th Airbus A330neo aircraft, reinforcing its position as Asia’s largest operator of the aircraft type and advancing its fleet modernization program.
The aircraft arrived in Manila on October 10 from Airbus’ facility in Toulouse, France, marking the airline’s fourth aircraft delivery and first widebody delivery for 2026.
Cebu Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer Xander Lao said the latest addition represents another milestone in the airline’s efforts to operate a younger, more efficient fleet.
“The delivery of our 15th A330neo aircraft is an important milestone for Cebu Pacific as we continue to build a more modern fleet,” Lao said.
He added that the A330neo offers significant fuel savings compared to previous-generation aircraft while providing greater flexibility to serve domestic and international markets.
The airline expects to receive a total of seven NEO aircraft in 2026 as part of its ongoing fleet expansion and modernization strategy.
With the latest delivery, newer-generation NEO aircraft now account for 78 percent of Cebu Pacific’s jet fleet, bringing the carrier closer to its target of operating an all-NEO fleet by 2030.
Compared to older-generation aircraft, NEO models consume 15 to 20 percent less fuel per flight and generate significantly less noise, helping reduce carbon emissions and support more sustainable airline operations.
