Pampanga 1st District Representative Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. has started the house-to-house distribution of ₱2,000 financial assistance, five kilos of rice, and Vitamin C supplements to bedridden senior citizens and elderly residents aged 90 to 99 in Barangay Pandan.

Lazatin was joined by his longtime aide Mina Cabiles and members of the Barangay Pandan Council, led by Punong Barangay Cors Alejandrino, during the distribution.

The lawmaker said the initiative forms part of his continuing program to prioritize the welfare and healthcare needs of bedridden and elderly Angeleños.

Aside from financial and food assistance, qualified beneficiaries will also receive free medical checkups and laboratory tests to help address their health concerns.

The initiative underscores Lazatin’s commitment to providing care and support to the city’s most vulnerable senior citizens.
