NLEX steps up pavement repairs for safer, smoother travel

NLEX Corporation has intensified pavement repair and maintenance works along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) to ensure safer, smoother, and more comfortable travel for motorists.

Recent repairs have been completed in Marilao, Sta. Rita, Balintawak, and Tabang, while maintenance activities continue in Bocaue and other sections of the expressway network.

The works include mill-and-pave operations, which involve removing worn-out pavement and replacing it with fresh asphalt to restore road quality and durability.

NLEX Corporation said maintenance activities are being carefully managed to minimize traffic disruptions.

“Regular pavement maintenance is an important part of preserving the quality and durability of our expressways. By addressing pavement wear and tear and carrying out the necessary repairs, we help maintain reliable road conditions and support safer travel for our motorists,” said NLEX President and General Manager Luis S. Reñon.

Motorists are advised to observe traffic signs, follow speed limits, and exercise caution when passing through construction zones.

The tollway operator will continue issuing traffic advisories through its official social media channels to keep motorists updated on ongoing maintenance works.

For assistance, motorists may call the NLEX hotline at 1-35000 or reach its 24/7 customer service through official social media channels.

NLEX Corporation is a subsidiary of Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), the toll road arm of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC).
