The Clark International Festival of Speed (CIFOS) 2026 roared to new heights, breaking its own parade record and setting a new benchmark for Philippine car culture with an 820-car gathering billed as the country’s biggest car meet featuring assorted makes.
Held October 16–18 at the Clark International Speedway, the three-day motoring festival brought together car clubs, automotive brands, racers, industry leaders, photographers, and enthusiasts in a celebration of speed, innovation, and camaraderie.
Tour D’elegance: 317 Cars, 36 Car Groups
The festival’s Tour d’Elegance parade drew 317 cars from 36 car groups, surpassing last year’s record of 236 vehicles. Participants also enjoyed an expanded three-lap track run, compared to just one lap in 2025.
PMGen. Lina Sarmiento, Vice President for Security Services Group, highlighted the festival’s contribution to sports tourism in Pampanga and Central Luzon.
“CIFOS is more than just cars and competition. It is about the friendships formed, families brought together and communities strengthened through a shared passion,” she said.
Clark International Speedway President Johnny Tan welcomed the impressive turnout, noting the remarkable growth in participating car groups.
“The vision for the next five years is to continue doing this and make it bigger. I was surprised that we grew from six car groups last year to 36 this year. Hopefully, we can get even more groups to support us next year,” Tan said.
On the Grid: Philippines’ Biggest Car Meet
Another festival highlight was CIFOS: On The Grid, which attracted more than 820 vehicles on October 17, earning recognition as the Philippines’ biggest car meet featuring assorted makes.
The gathering transformed the speedway into a massive automotive showcase, complete with two music stages, customized vehicles, and car enthusiasts celebrating their shared passion.
The record turnout further strengthened Clark’s growing reputation as a premier destination for motorsport and automotive tourism.
Under The Hood: Inspiring Future Engineers
Beyond the racetrack, CIFOS 2026 also provided a learning experience for 171 students through its Under the Hood educational motorsport program.
In partnership with Tuason Racing School, students from various institutions, including Mapúa University and the University of Santo Tomas, participated in guided pit lane and paddock tours.
The program introduced participants to vehicle technology, racing safety, aerodynamics, mechanical performance, and sustainable mobility.
Leading the tours was Arthur “AT” Tuason of Tuason Racing, a former multi-awarded karter and professional racer who comes from a distinguished family of Filipino motorsport champions.
The initiative aimed to inspire future engineers, technicians, and innovators by connecting classroom learning with real-world motorsport applications.
Frames of Speed: Showcasing Creative Talent
CIFOS also celebrated motorsport photography and videography through Frames of Speed, organized in collaboration with Sony Philippines.
Billed as the country’s biggest motorsport photography and videography competition, the event attracted 90 participants, up from more than 70 in its inaugural edition.
Winners and finalists in the 4-Wheels category were recognized during the festival’s opening day.
